Account information

Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. We receive the transaction and subscription information needed to administer membership access, but we do not directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.

Portions of Bromance & BL may be available only to users with an active paid membership.
Membership accounts and access are administered through WordPress using Paid Memberships Pro. When you subscribe, we may create or maintain records associated with information such as your email address, username, display name, WordPress user identifier, membership level, membership status, start date, expiration date, renewal information, and access permissions.
Paid Memberships Pro may also maintain membership-related records such as order history, transaction references, subscription status, cancellation status, and information necessary to determine whether your account is entitled to access members-only areas.

- Create and maintain your membership account;
- Verify whether your membership is active;
- Provide access to members-only database content;
- Display membership, renewal, billing, and order information in My Account;
- Restore or troubleshoot account access;

Creating an account or purchasing a membership does not give subscribers the ability to control or alter Bromance & BL’s editorial content unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise.
3. Payments
When you purchase or renew a paid membership, payment processing is performed by Stripe. Depending on the payment method and transaction, Stripe may collect information such as:
- Your name;
- Email address;
- Billing address, where requested or required;
- Payment-card or other payment-method details;
- Transaction amount;
- Payment and subscription status;
- Renewal information;
- Device, network, and fraud-prevention information; and
- Other information required to process or secure the transaction.
Bromance & BL and Paid Memberships Pro may receive limited information from Stripe that is necessary to administer the membership, such as confirmation that a payment was completed, declined, refunded, renewed, or canceled; transaction and subscription identifiers; payment status; and limited payment-method information such as card brand or the last four digits where made available.
Bromance & BL does not directly store your complete payment-card number or card security code.
Information processed directly by Stripe is subject to Stripe’s own privacy notice and terms. Stripe may also use cookies or similar technologies for payment processing, authentication, security, and fraud prevention.

Bromance & BL does not receive your full Redbubble payment-card information merely because you follow a link from our website.

Deleting or cancelling a membership does not necessarily require deletion of records that we are permitted or required to retain for these purposes.
Some information may remain temporarily in routine backups until those backups are overwritten or deleted through normal system processes.
