One membership = one user
Subscriber access is for the individual account holder. Account credentials and paid database access may not be shared or redistributed.
Our database is not free data for scraping
Automated extraction, bulk copying, database replication, paywall circumvention, and unauthorized AI or machine-learning use are prohibited.
Paid memberships have separate terms
Membership pricing, automatic renewal, cancellation, refunds, and website-closure protections are governed by the separate Membership Terms & Subscription Policy.
Reference, not official authority
We work to keep the database accurate, but media information, release dates, availability, classifications, and other details can change.
Paid membership terms
Paid Bromance & BL memberships are governed by a separate Membership Terms & Subscription Policy . That policy contains the current membership prices and the specific rules for automatic renewal, billing, cancellation, refunds, account management, and website closure.
If these general Terms conflict with the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy on a matter concerning a paid membership, the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy controls for that membership, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms form an agreement between you and Bromance & BL concerning your use of the website and its services.
You agree to these Terms when you:

- Purchase or maintain a subscription;

5. Paid memberships
Bromance & BL may offer paid membership plans that provide access to database content, research tools, or other members-only features.
The current price, billing period, included access, renewal terms, cancellation rules, refund policy, and other material membership terms are displayed at checkout and are governed by our Membership Terms & Subscription Policy .
A paid membership provides a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access the portions of Bromance & BL included with that membership while the membership remains active.
Paid access does not grant ownership of:
- The Bromance & BL database;
- Database compilations or organization;
- Articles or written materials;
- Original classifications or editorial material;
- Graphics, layouts, designs, or website elements; or
- Any other content protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Members may review and manage their active membership through the My Account area of the website.
6. Payment processing & recurring billing
Membership payments are processed through a third-party payment processor integrated with the website. Bromance & BL does not directly store complete payment-card information.
By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your account for the amounts disclosed at checkout and for future renewal charges as described in the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy .
Automatic renewal
Recurring memberships renew for successive billing periods unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date. Your account will show the membership level and, where available, the next scheduled payment or membership expiration date.
Changes to membership pricing
Bromance & BL may change membership prices in the future. Changes affecting existing recurring members will be handled under the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy and applicable law.
Taxes
Applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes may be added when required by law or collected by the applicable payment provider.
7. Membership cancellation & refunds
Cancellation
Members may cancel a recurring membership through the My Account area of the website. If you cannot access the applicable cancellation method, you may contact us for assistance.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Under the current membership policy, access ordinarily continues through the end of the paid membership period rather than ending immediately.
Refunds
Membership payments are governed by the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy . That policy generally makes membership payments non-refundable, including for partially used or unused membership periods, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where the policy expressly provides a refund.
The Membership Terms & Subscription Policy also contains the specific refund provision that applies if Bromance & BL permanently closes the website or discontinues the paid membership service.
Cancelling a membership after a renewal charge has occurred does not by itself reverse that charge.
8. Subscriber access
Subscriber-only content is provided for the personal use of the subscriber whose account is associated with the subscription.
You may view and use subscriber content for ordinary personal, informational, and reference purposes.
You may not use one paid subscription to provide access to:
- An organization;
- A public or private group;

9. Intellectual property

10. Prohibited uses

- Reconstruct, mirror, reproduce, or republish the database;

- Circumvent, disable, defeat, or interfere with a paywall, authentication system, access restriction, or security measure;
- Share subscription credentials or members-only content in a manner that substitutes for another person’s subscription;
- Resell or sublicense access to Bromance & BL;
- Remove copyright, attribution, trademark, or proprietary notices;
- Use Bromance & BL content as a bulk dataset for commercial data aggregation;
- Use substantial Bromance & BL content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, populate, or materially enrich an artificial intelligence or machine-learning system without prior written authorization;
- Attempt to access another user’s account;
- Introduce malicious code, malware, or disruptive technology;
- Overload or interfere with the operation of the website; or

Paying for access purchases access to the applicable subscriber features. It does not purchase editorial influence.
Corrections
We welcome good-faith notice of factual errors.
Submission of a correction request does not guarantee that an entry will be changed. We may review the available sources and determine whether an update is appropriate.
Private contact information supplied with a correction request will not be published merely because the correction was submitted.

Any dispute that is not subject to a mandatory legal forum or consumer-protection requirement may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Iowa.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy govern general use of the Bromance & BL website. If you purchase or maintain a paid membership, the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy and the material terms displayed at checkout also form part of the agreement applicable to that paid membership.
If these general Terms directly conflict with the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy on a matter concerning a paid membership, the Membership Terms & Subscription Policy controls for that membership, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
No waiver
Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not necessarily waive the right to enforce that provision later.
No transfer by user
